For those of us that love PRPS jeans but just can’t afford the high price tag, here is the solution! King Krash jeans were founded by denim legend Donwan Harrell, the man behind PRPS jeans! King Krash takes its inspiration from the illegal street racing days of 1970’s Manhattan – an era of disco, fast women and even faster cars, where gang culture was rampant and the clothes you wore were as much a part of the scene as the racing itself.

A fervent muscle car junkie from a young age, Harrell ransacked his photo archives and those of his drag racing friends for King Krash inspiration. Each item is finished with Harrell’s unrivalled attention to detail and wash techniques, faithfully replicating the stains, creases, abrasions and rips resulting from a life lived in the fast lane.

While PRPS is desirable, it is unfortunately outside of the ideal price range for many of us. While the price of Prps Jeans are easy to justify when you consider the effort put into its production, its also fair to say that the end price is still very expensive compared to many other brands.

This is where the King Krash label steps in. King Krash is clothing that is designed and drawn out by the same team as Prps - this gives the finished garments the same to-die-for looks as Prps. The difference comes in its manufacturing. While Prps cotton is made from Organically grown cotton in Africa, King Krash uses denim that is much cheaper to produce. The denim is then manufactured into jeans in factories rather than hand made like Prps.

The result of this is that King Krash has jeans that are sold for less than what it costs for a pair of PRPS jeans to be made. The reduced cost in production and transport (coming from a greater number of items being made) is passed directly on to the customer.

There's no doubt that PRPS jeans are probably the best men's jeans money can buy, but if you do not have that amount of money spare then King Krash is a worth alternative.
